SENECA   EARTHPATH   ENERGY   CHARTS

Each individual enters their Earthwalk (lifetime) with specific energetic vibrations based on their birth month, year, and ‘entering ray’ which help to guide them toward their unique potential.  These energies are based on seven gifts of birth (personal attributes), five latent talents (personal challenges) and a boundary skill which motivates change and movement within our life. 

Each of these thirteen points becomes an expression of energy and each radiates through a specific color, indicating its unique quality.   Awareness of our unique energetic expressions empowers us to tap into the unlimited creative force we each carry within us.  Living our true expression helps us to own our personal power, moving us beyond the dysfunctional patterns of old memory actions and reactions. 

This philosophy was carried by the People known as the Seneca, who were also part of the Iroquois Confederacy.  It is based on the Cycles of Truth and the Pathway of Peace and gives identity to our natural rhythms of growth.  These teachings were shared with me over many years of study with Grandmother Twylah Nitsch, Yehwehnode--"She Whose Voice Rides the Four Winds". 

She, and her mother Blue Flower, formatted the oral teachings of her People into a body of work that could be shared with others through the Wolf Clan Teaching Lodge.  Gram’s teachings started at an early age through her grandparents Moses & Alice Shongo.  Gram felt that these teachings carried us through our daily experiences in life by helping us to meet challenge, change, choice and commitment—the Four Winds of growth.

This ancient counseling tool centers its teachings on the form of the Medicine Wheel, encouraging us to explore the depths of our Sacred Space.  Gram taught that our sacred space is within the Silence--our Vibral Core.  Aligning with our Vibral Core helps us to remember the experience called Oneness, although we human beings always tend to learn through opposites. When we are out of balance we loose harmony with the Love & Peace within and these can only be restored when living our truth and acting with wisdom, integrity, stability, dignity and personal responsibility. 

The Medicine Wheel suggests that all things are united and move in rhythmic cycles; and, that the totality of life’s process (seen & unseen) is a gift manifesting from Swenio, the Seneca name for the All That Is of Original Source-Great Mystery.   It is the belief of the People that Great Mystery lives in everything, created everything, always was and always will be.  The Medicine Wheel therefore offers each of us a template to open to all the lessons that Creation has to teach us.   

Among the Elders of the People, the term ‘medicine’ does not refer to healing.  It means ‘wisdom’.  To walk the wheel is to view life from many ‘wisdom’ perspectives, gaining freedom and clarity for life choices.  The essence of the Medicine Wheel is one of movement to promote change. 

Unconditional love and gratitude support change and are the source that can nourish our mission in this life--awareness.  By utilizing your gifts of birth and developing your talents, we establish our earth identity and bring awareness to all we are and all we do.  This is both our contribution and our obligation—to live the truth encoded in us—to uplift humanities consciousness through advancing our own. 

It was my great honor to have Gram as my mentor and teacher for many years.  Her words were simple and profound at the same time; her eyes always twinkled when she was about to impart those lessons that taught me how I must honor my path or how to get out of my own way.  She has been one of the few people in my life that I consider to have true Grace.  In the late ‘80’s I had her permission to teach this body of work.  I have shared this wisdom path with others trusting it will encourage them to bring their unique gifts to their Earthwalk—helping to complete the cycle Gram so often spoke of—she was here so those that came could stand on her shoulders, my promise to her was that I would assist others to stand on mine.
