Sandy has been trained in modern and ancient healing traditions. She offers private Shamanic
Counseling sessions and workshops nationally and internationally through her corporation, Starwalker
Ventures, Inc. She has been published in a variety of diverse publications spanning topics from the
mystical and transformative, to current healthcare design trends. In conjunction with her counseling and
workshop facilitation, she works as a Visual Consultant for TESS USA, Inc., a healthcare company aimed at
uplifting patients’ in high stress hospital environments. (

Sandy practiced privately as a Body-Oriented Psychotherapist utilizing psychotherapy, Upledger's
Cranio-sacral Therapy, Zen Shiatsu (AOBTA practitioner), Therapeutic Touch (instruction by Dee Krieger and
Dora Kuntz) and Flower Essences for 19 years in MA, NC and TX. She was a Special Needs Educator for
emotionally challenged children for 12 years prior and 3 years was the Director of AFTA: an after school
education and enrichment program interfacing with the community homeless shelters and high risk children
in Massachusetts.
She has been extensively trained since 1983 by Native American Grandmothers in a variety of healing
paradigms, dream interpretation, shamanic counseling and women’s rituals. Initiated in '87 as a
Priestess of the Sisters of the Violet Flame. Initiated in '94 as a 4th level priest in the Andean
Mystical Tradition and a chunpi p'aqo, she has mentored with Indigenous and Mestizo teachers in Peru,
Mexico and Central America. Work through PEER: Program for Extraordinary Experience Research, study
through the Academy of Future Sciences and trained in remote viewing.
